Hot off the back of a mammoth time at The Great Escape (UK) last week, Rowena Wise is releasing her stunning new album, “Senseless Acts of Beauty” today. ROWENA WISE (fka Ro) brings in the New Year with the aptly titled ‘New Years’, a devastating reflection on change and letting go. It’s that “slow-drip feeling of falling apart when you know you’re about to say goodbye, even though your heart is still completely in it”, says Rowena.

Hailed as a “lyrical assassin” by the Australian triple j community, Rowena’s storytelling is like a close friend, offering heady ruminations on love, loss and alienation while giving gentle echoes of courage and empowerment.

Out now on the new Naarm-based label Beloved Recordings, Lewis Coleman's latest offering Offline is a collection of songs grounded in a desire to generate a current within stagnant and hopeless waters.

Back in August, we celebrated the launch of Beloved Recordings alongside the first track from Lewis Coleman’s new record, Offline. We held it at our home ground The Evelyn Hotel in Fitzroy, a rock and staple for so many of our early gig experiences growing up in Melbourne’s music community. It was a true pleasure to bring this thing into the world with so many beloved friends and family, we’re all warmed and energised and can’t wait to bring you more memories like this.
